Summary:
The coralliverous crown-of-thorns starfish (Acanthaster planci, COTS) at Bamburi Coral Gardens, Kenya. Contrary to previous beliefs, Vogler et al. found that COTS consists of four species instead of a single widespread one – a discovery that will have important consequences for both research and conservation.
